A City with Soul
New Orleans has such a unique feel. The architecture in the French Quarter is stunning, and there's live music everywhere you turn. We loved just walking around, soaking it all in. The food is also incredible, with so many rich flavors.
Incredible Live Music!
The music scene here is on another level. We spent most of our nights on Frenchmen Street, hopping between clubs. The quality of the musicians is just fantastic. It's not just jazz; you can find all sorts of great live bands. Such a fun place for music fans.
Beautiful and Historic
New Orleans is just full of history. The Garden District was my favorite part, with its gorgeous old homes and massive oak trees. The whole city has this amazing historical depth. We also tried some fantastic Creole food which felt connected to the city's past.
Amazing Flavors Everywhere
Came for the culture and was blown away by the food. It's so much more than just one thing. The mix of spicy, savory, and sweet is perfect. Getting fresh beignets in the morning was a highlight. A great destination for anyone who loves to eat.
So Much Energy
This city has a constant festive feel. Even in January, the energy was high. We had a great time on Bourbon Street, where the party never seems to stop. Lots of fun bars and places to hang out. It's a very social and lively city.
Easy to Explore
A wonderful, walkable city. We enjoyed taking the St. Charles Streetcar to see the different neighborhoods at a slower pace. It's easy to get around without a car. Found many cozy cafes and shops just by exploring on foot. Very pleasant.
